Making a dress from your bodice and skirt blocks

Assignment #21

Take the patten that was handed out in class and prepare it.

Here is what I want you to do

(All the pattern pieces have seam allowance added so you just need to cut and tape them together)

• 1 Cut the pattern pieces off each page (2)

• 2 Tape the bottom to the top where the little marks are. (*Note- the little piece on each page, when cut, is to be taped onto the bottom of the longer piece of each page. You will need to but them up to with no overlap.

Take a picture of these 4 pattern pieces (side by side)

And upload them to your folder by

I will grade them by Sunday and will check to make sure you have them correct so you can go on to the cutting of the fabric. If I see something that needs to be changed I’ll send you an email so you can correct it before you cut the fabric.

Once you get the go ahead,

Go ahead and trace these patterns on fabric and cut them out.

Remember that the front is NOT cut on the “FOLD” so all the pieces will need 2 of each.

 (remember to flip them so you have a left and a right)
