Creating a Pattern

Assignment #6

Using the pattern block that you picked up in class

(or picked up at the main office if you are virtual)

Cut out the “Block”. Trace the block on the pattern paper(also picked up at school) add 1/4” seam allowance to the shoulders, neck and waist. Add 1/2” to the center back and don’t add any seam allowance to the center front seam. The front seam will be “On The Fold”.

(**Important, at the end of video it asks you to cut out the pattern out (Do Not Cut), just take a picture of the patterns on the paper and upload them to your folder.

Just take a picture of the patterns on the paper and upload them to your folder. Name it "Bodice Pattern"

(We will cut them later)

This will give me a chance to make sure you have them correct before moving on.
