How to Pattern a skirt
Assignment #17 (Part 2) Due Saturday 3/20
Watch this video and learn how to cut out the skirt front and back.
Once you have watched the video cut out the skirt using the pattern that you added seam allowance to in class.
Take a picture of the cut out fabric and name it “Skirt #2 fabric” and of the sewn skirt and name it “Skirt #2” and upload it to your folder.
Watch the following video if you need to remember how to sew the skirt.
(It’s the video of the first skirt but the process is the same)

Part 2
Once you have cut the skirt out, take a picture of the skirt pieces and Name it “Skirt #2 fabric”go ahead and sew it together as shown in the 3rd video. Take a picture of the sewn skirt and name it “Skirt #2” (inside & outside) and upload them to your folder. This is due Saturday. 3/20
The video above is how we sewed the first skirt. The only thing that is different for the second skirt is we added more fullness to the pattern but you sew both styles of skirts the same way.
Below is a picture of the new skirt so you can see the fullness and the difference between them.
