You should get familiar with the above processes. First you can go to Blackboard. This “Textbook” is where you will find everything we will be studying and should be your guide for this class. Blackboard is where you will find everything posted. I will post Announcements to keep you informed and I will list your Homework and classwork weekly under the “Homework/Classwork” tab in Blackboard. I will also post links to some of the things that we are studying so you can go back to them as needed. When we go into “Remote Learning” (should we need to) we will use Backboard Ultra. It is important for you to have your camera on at all times. I would like you to use your microphone when asked a question or when you have a question of me. You can leave your mic off when it is not being used (this will help cut down on feed back).
You will use OneDrive to turn in assignments and your assignments will be done id “Word” or “Powerpoint”. Word if you are writing a paper of answering questions (quiz or test) and Powerpoint if it is multimedia (text, pictures or video).
Once you have clicked on the above buttons (and watched and understand the videos) I would like you to click on the “Create your folder” button and follow he instructions.
The last button “Assignments” will take you to the assignment page where you can see and learn what is expected of you for each assignment going forward.
Click the button below, “Your folder” and then create a folder with your name one it. Once you create a new folder, change the name to “Your last name” and “Your first initial” (Kent R).
This will be where you will upload your assignments to.
Once you have created your folder I want you to take a picture of yourself (Head shot(without mask)). You should do this with the camera on your laptop. Name the photo (“Your first & last name”) and upload it to your folder. Remember, this is part of the assignment. (I want to make sure that you know how to use your laptop) Finally, I want you to take a picture of yourself on your phone (without mask) and up load that into your folder. Name that photo (“Your first & last name & Phone”)
