Make a pattern from your draping

Assignment #11

Take the draping that you made and trace it onto the paper.(use a sharpie)  Make sure that you leave space around each piece in order to add seam allowance. Add 1/2” seam allowance to all the seams on the front piece except the center front. On the center front write “Fold” along the front edge. On the back, add 1/2” seams all the way around except to the back center seam. Add 1” seam allowance to the back seam. Be sure to put the name (Bodice) “Front” or “Back” and a grain line. You should also include your name on both pieces. If you have forgotten how to label you can go back to the Patterning page, and watch the video again.  

** Do not cut the pattern off the paper.

When you have finished,  (do not cut it out), take a picture of your 2 patterns with seam allowance,  name the picture “Bodice patterns” and upload it to your folder.
