During the Performance

During an appearance, the character should always be accompanied by a spokesperson. (Name tags should be designed and used.)

The guard should be well-versed in the character's personality and be aware of the performer's limitations.

It is essential that the guard relate to the character's personality and not the performer's.

The most common questions asked are:

1. Where does he/she see?

2. Who is in there?

3. Is that a boy or girl in there?

4. It's hot in there, isn't it?

5. What is your name?

6. Does he talk?

Answers to these questions can be prepared in advance. These replies can help further establish the character.
